I’ve been working as a city reporter since 1997, covering every facet of city life—particularly crime, cops, courts, politics and education—for alt. weeklies in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, where I am currently senior writer at Philadelphia Magazine, one of the last city magazines in America focused on doing real journalism.
